Global Perspectives on Education, Business and Technology 2026 (GPEBT 2026)

1. Registration and Eligibility

Participants must provide accurate and complete information when registering or submitting a manuscript. BAC Education students and staff need to use their official email for registration for the BAC Education presenter fees. The applicable conference fees are as stated on the website.

2. Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through the official GPEBT 2026 submission system and follow the required paper template and author guidelines. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are in accordance with the website's requirements. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance.

3. Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

The review outcome is as stated on the website. Authors who are required to revise their papers must respond to reviewer comments and submit the revised manuscript within the stated deadline. The final decision on conference acceptance rests with GPEBT 2026.

4. Conference Presentation

Manuscripts that successfully complete the review process and receive final acceptance will be scheduled for presentation at GPEBT 2026 on 28 November 2026. Authors must:

• complete the required registration;
• pay the applicable conference fee;
• submit any required final manuscript; and
• present the accepted paper during the conference.

Only papers that are accepted and presented at GPEBT 2026 will proceed to the publication stage.

5. Publication

All accepted papers presented at GPEBT 2026 will be eligible for publication in selected MyCite-indexed journals in collaboration with Asian Scholars Network (ASNet). Following the conference, presenters' manuscripts will be forwarded to the publisher for processing as stated on the website. Authors may be required to make further editorial or formatting amendments to meet the requirements of the assigned journal.

6. Conference Proceedings

Accepted and presented papers may also be included in the GPEBT 2026 conference proceedings, subject to the required final submission and formatting requirements. Authors remain responsible for the academic content of their papers.

7. Payment

Payment must be made using the method specified by GPEBT 2026. Where a bank transfer is used, participants must provide the required proof of payment. Registration or presenter status will only be confirmed after payment has been verified. Participants are responsible for any bank charges or transaction fees.

8. Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refunds

Authors who wish to withdraw a paper and participants who wish to cancel their registration must notify the GPEBT 2026 Secretariat in writing at gpebt@bac.edu.my.

Refund conditions

• Cancellation on or before 31 October 2026: eligible for a refund, less any applicable bank or transaction charges.
• Cancellation after 31 October 2026: registration fees are non-refundable.
• No-show: no refund will be provided if a registered participant or presenter does not attend the conference.
• Presenter withdrawal: an accepted presenter who withdraws after the registration and payment deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
• Bank or transaction charges: any applicable charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

Approved refunds will be processed through the appropriate payment method within a reasonable processing period. If GPEBT 2026 is cancelled by the Organising Committee, registered participants and presenters will be informed of the applicable refund arrangements. The Organising Committee may consider exceptional cases on an individual basis.

9. Academic Integrity

GPEBT 2026 may reject, withdraw, or remove a paper where there is evidence of:

• plagiarism;
• fabricated or falsified information;
• inappropriate authorship;
• duplicate publication;
• copyright infringement;
• manipulation of the review process; or
• other serious academic misconduct.

Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work.

10. Copyright

Authors retain copyright in their original work unless otherwise agreed. By submitting a manuscript, authors give GPEBT 2026 and its authorised publication partners permission to use the manuscript as necessary for:

• peer review;
• conference administration;
• proceedings;
• publication processing; and
• journal publication.

Authors must ensure that they have permission to use any copyrighted figures, tables, images, or other third-party material included in their manuscripts.

11. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Authors remain responsible for all content submitted to GPEBT 2026, including material prepared with the assistance of generative AI tools. Authors must ensure that AI-assisted content is:

• accurate;
• properly checked;
• appropriately referenced where required;
• free from fabricated information; and
• compliant with academic-integrity requirements.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

12. Personal Data

Personal data collected through the GPEBT 2026 website, submission system, registration, payment process, and publication workflow will be handled in accordance with the GPEBT 2026 Personal Data Protection & Privacy Notice and applicable Malaysian law.

By registering or submitting a manuscript, users acknowledge that their information may be processed for:

• peer review;
• registration;
• payment verification;
• conference administration;
• presentation scheduling;
• proceedings; and
• journal publication.

13. Conference Programme and Changes

The Organising Committee may make reasonable changes to:

• the programme;
• presentation schedules;
• session allocations;
• speakers;
• venue arrangements;
• deadlines; and
• administrative procedures.

Any significant changes will be communicated through official conference channels where practicable.

14. Participant Conduct

All participants, authors, reviewers, and presenters are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. GPEBT 2026 reserves the right to take appropriate action against misconduct, harassment, misuse of the submission system, or interference with the peer-review process.

15. Limitation of Responsibility

GPEBT 2026 is not responsible for personal costs arising from matters outside the reasonable control of the Organiser, including:

• travel arrangements;
• accommodation;
• visa applications;
• personal expenses; or
• other related costs.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute should first be raised with the GPEBT 2026 Secretariat for resolution. Where necessary, unresolved matters may be referred to the appropriate Malaysian court, tribunal, or authority.

17. Changes to These Terms

GPEBT 2026 may update these Terms where necessary to reflect changes in conference administration, publication arrangements, technology, or legal requirements. The latest version published on the official conference website will apply.
